Poorya Gharehgozloo (puriaqara) was born on 30 May 1976, Tehran. Due to his famili’s artistic background and his passion for arts, soon he started recognizing some of the greatest artists of all time in addition to experiencing creative activities by his own. Besides, he started classical piano at the age of 9, continuing attentively With Armenian Pianist Raphael Minaskanian till now.
He graduated in Industrial Design (Azad University of Tehran) and at the same time, attended drawing and sketching classes. He also participated in installation workshops of Behrooz Daresh, where he found his personal style and created a mixture of kinetic-light installations with sounds.
